I never got a chance to update yesterday, and as you may know, it was national aids day. This has become a huge epidemic, so i wanted everyone to know how severe it is.
*Every 6.4 seconds, someone in the world is diagnosed with aids.
*AIDS is now the number 4 cause of death nation wide.
*In 2003, there were 43,171 people in the us with aids.
*in 2003, there were also 59 cases of aids in children under 13.
* The number of estimated deaths through 2003 was 542,060.
So those are just some statistics, from Time magazine and the division of HIV/Aids prevention. If you want to help fight aids, you can buy braclets from bath and body works, or the body shop. The proceeds obviously go toward stopping the epidemic.
