This is so sweet. I'll admit that I have a soft spot for MPreg and this fit the bill perfectly. You made the story sweet but managed to keep Rodney's personality intact. I love the image of Rodney stealing the covers in the morning. Thank you for posting this.

Aww, thank you! I must admit, I've always been keen on the idea of Rodney being a blanket-hog :[ Thanks for the input. I'm always afraid of making one or both of the men too 'femme' and not enough like themselves in fics.

I don't see any problems in this fic. Rodney is still snarky. John is still laid back. All is as it should be.

I also adore their little girl. It was totally evil of Rodney to sic her on John an hour early.

:x I would love to write more for this, but it was killer just trying to churn out the last few paragraphs in this. I'm absolutely horrible at continuations.

But if the inspiration hits, I will definitely try to write more. MPreg universes are my favorite :] So glad you liked it; thank you very much for the lovin' ;]

Sad day!

But if the inspiration hits, I will definitely try to write more. MPreg universes are my favorite :]

You do realize I will hold you to this...Mpreg is one od my loves and there is far too little of it in the SGA universe when there's so much opportunity for more!

:'] Even if I don't continue this particular MPreg universe, I have two others in planning stages for longer fics. Now, they're less likely to be written because they're planned out to be longer, but hopefully they'll be completely fleshed out one day.

But I agree completely. Stargate needs more MPreg. It's such a perfect universe to make it happen without sounding like a complete and utter idiot, talking about men being impregnated ;D

Mpreg is such a guilty pleasure, but only when it's done correctly, as you have.

I really loved this. It was sweet and gushy and everything a fluffy mpreg should be. *sigh* Couldn't ask for anything better.

Aww thank you! It's nice to hear when people say I've done something right when it's already a difficult subject to do correctly. Thank you so much for the lovely feedback :D Ego-strokage is definitely the best reward I can get >.>

Lovely little snapshot of a week in their lives. You snuck in lots of intriguing little hints and details about their relationship, the first pregnancy, and their lives together.

My only quibble is that the story centered around morning sickness *and* I was foolish enough to set down and read it while eating my lunch! Of course, that's totally on me, my own fault for bad scheduling. ::laughing at my own foolishness::

I hope you get inspired to write some more in this universe. I'm intrigued to learn more about how they coped with the first pregnancy, how they handled having a child in their lives and relationship, and how the rest of Atlantis dealt with it! No pressure, though, just another way of letting you know how well this story worked for me.

Since you enjoy MPREG (and write it), I'll point you to an old essay of mine, The Question of MPREG, with lots of recs for MPREG stories in various fandoms (though I have to check/update a few links again). If you've got any favorites, please feel welcome to add them to the list in

Ehem. *headdesk* The link above shouldn't be to your story here, it should be to my essasy. Sorry about that. Here's the correct link.
