Hailey said "cookie" today. And after she said it, she proceeded to get Moxie's cookie from around the corner and give it to her.
She doesn't say a lot of words that actually sound like words yet though her doctor said that her babbling does contain quite a vocabulary. She'll say hi, bye, mommy and daddy. Those are the words she has said for quite a while but other than that it's all in her own language. Her most common word is "nyie" which is kind of hard to spell how it actually sounds, but it's kind of like "nice" without the "c" but adding in some sort of "y" sound in there. I have no idea what it means and I've been trying to associate it with something but I can't figure it out though it seems to be part of a question rather than a statement.
In the morning, Ulises will tell her "good morning" and she will try to say it back, but only for him. She has said "what's this?" a couple of times, and it sounded as though she said "like this" today when I handed her a marker and asked her if she could draw on the wipe off board.
I just love her.
