Since someone was willing to come with me, I was able to watch the last show today at PFW. So anyway, here goes. I was supposed to meet my friend to eat dinner beforehand. I came 15 minutes early and she came 15 minutes late. 20 minutes of those 30 minutes may nakipagkilala sakin. Chinese siya. Na girl. As in super chinese ng itsura. Fair skin, short lashes, no double eyelids. She seemed nice, she said shes here for business around 5 days every month. Hardcore Chinese, its evident in her accent, although she can speak some English and a few Tagalog basic expressions.
SMALL TALK:
Chinese Girl (CG): Why are you dressed nicely? Are you going to attend a party?
Me: No there's a fashion show.
CG: Oh so your a model? An actress?
Me: No
CG: Btw, I come here for business, a few days every month, I'm just waiting for my friend.
Me: Oh Im also waiting for a friend,
CG: You're very pretty and skinny too, how old are you?
Me: 25
CG: Do you have a boyfriend? Youre very pretty you should have one already
Me: None (SEMI-LAUGHING)
CG: Oh maybe your standards are quite high
Me: Maybe but I like my guys tall (Trying to control laughter)
CG: Oh but here in the Philippines there are not a lot of tall guys!
CG: I have a brother, your age, hes very tall. He is part of the National Team of Swimming in China. A professional Swimmer. Im sure he would love to meet you. Hes coming to the Philippines before the year ends maybe we should meet at that time.
[AT KAMUSTA NAMAN]
(Im laughing na. With no sound)
Me: Really? Thats nice. So thats all he does? In China, the athletes are purely athletes right? They train hard. Unlike here some athletes also work as actors or models.
CG: Yup he is a professional swimmer thats his job. He is tall but slim with muscles and broad shoulders.
[NAGIIMAGINE NA AKO PROMISE. DI KAGANDAHAN YUNG GIRL E. PERO SWIMMERS Of ANY RACE, NATIONAL TEAM LEVEL--Not necessarily Olympic team level-- GENERALLY HAVE THE BEST BODIES AROUND]
CG: You ok with Chinese guys? Maybe when he meets you he would like to stay here in the Philippines
[Her friend arrives and she leaves, but before that, she gives me her card.]
CG: Add me in facebook, I dont know how to add people in Facebook, I just know how to accept
HAHAHAHAHAHA. Kamusta naman. Nothing major and this is not supposed to be the highlight of my day (Which didnt happen anyway) But I just thought this was worth telling, since tawang tawa ako. Benta!
Ano add ko ba sa Facebook? Yung email add nya sa business card yun din daw ung pang-FB nya e.
Hipon kaya yung brother niya?
E kung hipon yun madaming hipon sa dampa noh. Buttered style or tempura style pa.
E pano kung gwapo yun?
Oh well. Funny story nonetheless.
