Piling it on

Work keeps piling it on. There's 3 other enlisted in my team, one has been in a class until today, one is a private detailed to help the other NCO take care of property book stuff. So that's left just me in the office to handle the training calendar, frago tracker, and whatever the hell the officers think is important that day.

And this damn calendar is getting more and more intricate. Now I'm sync'ing it with three different calendars made by other sections as well as adding all our stuff into it. One of those calendars is a 73 page list, another one an 18 tablet page spreadsheet. So much fun. No, really, I do enjoy this kidn of intricate work. Just hours at a time tend to get boring.

And home has been icy lately. Again, it's about sex, but our money situation agitated things so she's been guilty and weepy and I'm fighting a bad bought of depression. The timeing on the nooner couldn't have been better (though, really, it pushed us over the precipice) and thoughts of going home for the weekend help keep me from going any further down.
*thoughts of an uphill battle on a slippery slope*

wife, army, depression
