For fuck's sake, loosing LJ at work wouldn't be so bad if these computers at the lab were so fucking shitty. Both the connection and the computer are so damn slow and the keyboards barely work.
Not to many good things to say. Still argueing with my wife. Still shoveling the bull shit at work.
Went to circle last night and it was great. the vehicle ws easy to get so I was there on time for a change. Was a great class on paganism/polytheism influences on the old testement. A neat little fact; satan, or shaitan, is mentioned in the OT 18 times, and 14 of those times are in Job.
And shaitan literally meant advesary, in the royal courts at the time it was an appointed position. Thir job was to argue against everything the king wanted,to be the devil's advocate, a counter to all of the yes men.
And through analyzing the literary style of Job, it is most likely far older than the rest of the OT books and from a completely different source.
Also, Yahweh had a wife, Aeshra. Lots of stuff about her, most of it being facts that Biblical scholars have trying to been discount for a very long time.
The cute contractor was there, but between showing up late and her attention sucked into a chess game afterwards, not much time to talk to her. But a girl who likes chess? A definate plus.
And some more wonderful emails with mistress and hot times with ssendas, those two are gonna get me through this deployment.
May daughter as so cute on the phone, she was tired after a long day and she's just adorable when she's tired. Doesn't really get grouchy, just so slow and cute. Even over the phone it's great.
