no contacts for me?
wore my first pair of contacts during the cosfest this year.. took 6 blardy hours trying to put it on.. got very irratated the whole time they were in my eyes..
so much so that i can't keep my focus on a single object for more than 10s without blinking.
wore the coloured contacts another 2 times then on the third, ripped one of the lenses accidentally.
bought disposables from an opticians near my place.
after trying on another three pairs, decided to go ask the opticians about the nagging discomfort in my eyes..
she checked thoroughly and concluded that i have eyes belonging to the 10% of singaporeans with which their cornea is too small/flat to support the curvature of the contacts..
solutions include perscribing a pair of permanent tailor made contacts or trying on various disposable contacts till i hopefully have one that fits me..
seems like my initial apprehension at wearing contacts seems to be stemming from a future problem ^^
