Very nice ending to a very dark, but good story :)

Im glad Mitchell faced consequences but Im even more glad that Sharon understod he deserved it...even if their history made it hard. I was discussi g sexual violence against women last night, randomly, specifically how women are essentially raised to blame themselves. Sharon could havethouvht (and I think did think) for a very long time that what happened was acceptable because of the type of relationship she and Mitchell had for so long. Im very glad she came to know better.

I love how Fritz still supports Sharon despite her stealing his wife!

Now on to the next story!!! ♥

I'm glad that I could turn your opinion of the story around. Haha. I'm glad you enjoyed it and gave it a chance even though I thought you'd just hate it. I'm glad you read it after all. :)

I find your outside conversation very appropriate to this story. Sometimes I don't even know what I'm doing in a story, I just write what ridiculous ideas come to mind, but I'm glad that this story is at least somewhat true to life and how women deal with abuse.

And yes, Fritz is just such a good guy. (I also didn't intend to make him look so wonderful, but...these things do happen.)

And yes...new story soon and more of the cancer one. :) Thank you for liking this story so much. :)

I was waiting for this! A good conclusion. I think the peacefulness of it worked well, since the rest of the story was about Sharon (and Brenda and also Fritz) dealing with violence.

I'm excited to see what you have in the works that's new, and also what you have in store for us in "Through All the Music...".

I'm glad you weren't disappointed by the smallness of the last chapter, and that you enjoyed its contents. :) And yes, I tried to give them some happiness at the end of horribleness.

And I hope you won't be disappointed by my new story or "Through All the Music...", which I think will get posted today.

Thank you for reviewing this. :)

It's always good to see a good conclusion where the happy couple gets to celebrate! As I would expect of Fritz's character, supportive to the end (even though he may have had to attend a meeting afterwards). Everyone should get to experience that one person who makes them feel all is right with the world!

I know...isn't it so cliche for them to be together in the end though? Oh well, it's happy and that's what this story needed. Fritz is such a good guy, so...I just let him be. Ha. And yes everyone should, but sometimes that person is hard to find, or comes at a most unexpected time. Life is just funny that way.

I'm so glad you enjoyed this. :) Thanks for reviewing.

Fantastic! I love the reality in Sharon's character. You may have noticed that I'm in a VA program right now. I was surprised to learn the other day that 1 out of 4 women who serve in the American military are raped while on active duty. Your depiction of Sharon echos a lot of what I'm hearing from real-life victims.

Well done.

Wow! That is a compliment because often I don't even realize what I'm writing is true to life. I must say, I've never experienced or dealt with any of this in real life, so it's good to hear that it really is true to life, because that is what I try to do. It's unfortunate, of course, that this sort of thing happens, but luckily in this story, Sharon got Brenda out of the ordeal and it all ended as it should. (Minus Sharon getting raped...of course). Anyway, thank you and good luck with that program. It sounds very interesting and probably rewarding to help people.
