[The smile is met with a look that is not quite a smile, but isn't quite not one, either. It's the look that someone would give the Uncle at Christmas Dinner who just said something incredibly awkward, but doesn't want to be rude.]
Someone might get the wrong idea, with all that walking around of yours.

[Raven had not missed Lucifer, quite the contrary. She had avoided the tea party, it had been several weeks since she last talked to him (although she'd heard about what he'd done to Blaine). But well, good things can only last so long...
She stops dead in her tracks when she senses his unmistakable aura. She jumps from one rooftop to another until she's right above him. It reminds her of the first day she met him. That doomed day on which he was brought to Adstring.]
Your housemates finally decided to throw you out?
[She's scared but it doesn't show neither on her face nor in her voice. She knows he can feel it but she couldn't care less. It would be stupid not to fear him, yet she's here talking to him as she would to just anyone.]
[Offline] It feels too early for me... I'm still half asleep.feel_nevermoreApril 12 2011, 04:38:00 UTC
Really? [He barely gets a smirk in return.] That'd be so very nice of you. I've not had so many occasions for a good laugh lately...
[The distance between them feels useless. It wouldn't protect her if she needed protection and Lucifer seems to be restraining most of his energy for now. So she just flies down the building to land softly a few feet away from him.]
Are you tracking some kind of residual aura? [He could be looking for the Animus. Everyone seems to be, after all. And Raven is pretty sure Lucifer hates them at least as much as the rest of them do.] Or looking for holes in this reality through which you could escape?

Huh. Good luck tellin' one piece of shit buildin' from the next.
[But it's said without malice or scorn. He actually sounds pretty upbeat.]
