(no subject)
All right, so yeah. First of all I'd like to apologize to everyone for not being able to go camping. Sometimes being a man of the people requires obligation before desires, and that's what happened in this situation. I thought I was going to be able to pull both off but when I was informed that the group had reached its limit on cars that kind of killed that hope. Yeah, I was offered someone's car but I didn't like that idea so...yeah. Next time when I don't have an obligatory wedding to go to, I'm definitely there for camping. And if anyone's angry at me, well the fact that I didn't have fun whatsoever should make up for that. Sounds like those who attended had a pretty good time, so maybe next year.
So onto this wedding that I had to attend. Thankfully it wasn't too long of a wedding but the wedding was just hokey overall. They had a slideshow that was just ridiculous. But the real kicker was the wedding reception which we were at for all of three minutes. They made their own crossword puzzle with the title "Can you find love? Mike and Jen did June 10th".Yeah, obviously I just changed the names cuz nobody knows 'em, but really. Isn't that just dumb? Anyway Dad and I looked at the reception for a few moments before we just left. Oh well. At least I don't have anyone else getting married for another nine months.
Still jobless, but I'm heading up to Career Services to let 'em have a look at the resume. While I'm up there I'm gonna check out one or two minor little things to see if there's anything worth going into there. Now this is about the time when I'd normally start freaking about the fact that I'm still living at home but I've got a new sense that maybe I can get out of here relatively soon. Just have to wait my turn, I guess. Other than that I'm just looking forward to picking up my comic books for the past 2-3 weeks so I'm going to be lighter in the pocket and reading a lot of books come Wednesday.
