So I had a nice long weekend with my peoples this weekend, and had a lot of fun. First of all, many thanks go out once again to Eric and the girls for housing me those four days. Because as we all know by now, having a roof over your head totally reeks of awesomeness. And now we go on to the awesome events of the weekend.
So Thursday night was fun for the fact that I got to see a bunch of people at Joyce's cookout, courtesy of Chef Palmer who grilled something like 40 burgers and 16 Polish Sausages. Now first of all, those were really friggin' good burgers and sausages. I dare say that Palmer knows what to do with his meat. Secondly, getting to spend time w/ Joyce, Phil, the Chain, Palmer, Ryan and everyone else who made an appearance was just fun also. The Chain's getting ready to graduate. That kind of makes me sad. Left that after a good while to attend the last semblance of Perk but damn. Lots of memories erased with some ugly-ass white paint, and an empty room. Well fear not Perk, for I shall remember ye how ye were, not what ye were reduced to in the end. I raise my coke to you, Perk. Thank you for four awesome years of memories.
After I left Perk, I ran into Bradley and our buddy Ben that I haven't seen since September. It was kind of weird seeing him again but after the first five minutes everything kind of fell back into the old routines. Plus I got to see Bradley and Alan which is something I haven't done enough of in the past year or so. Crashed Thursday night on Eric's extra bed and Friday morning was spent watching movies and having lunch. I believe Friday as a day was pretty uneventful aside from going to La Bamba's kind of late w/ Katey and other people, but I did get to see Tyrone when we went to crash. If I miss something, please blame it on the fact that it's 2:48 as I type this.
Saturday was fun. Went to the lake w/ Phil, Chain, Barry, Katey, Mike and I think their friend Andy. Just a beautiful day, people sunbathing, and whiffle ball. Now the problem came that the ball went out into the lake, and Chain tries to wade in to get it and proceeds to lose his sandals in the lake. We leave around three and pick up Erin before heading for their shopping trip, and we go see American Dreamz. Absolutely hilarious movie. We get back late, and we then proceed to crash until this morning. Got back safely (Obviously, since you're reading this) and now I'm just working to get me some employment.
And as for this week, that's the theme. We're going to see if we can't get rid of this whole nasty 'unemployment' thing. Nothing set yet, except for an app to send tomorrow. Thanks Gretchen. Ok, well it's late and I'm kinda tired. Peace.
