Interview Information Plus...
First of all a little backstory about this inteview that I don't remember if I gave in the last post. We decided to do a phone interview because I really didn't feel like a 3 hour drive if this was going to be a fruitless expedition. So we decide to do the interview, and she tells me "We can do it anytime next week that is NOT Monday or Friday". I basically tell her "No problem. How about Tuesday, 1:30" and she accepts.
Now, the reason I chose 1:30 should be pretty obvious by now: I loves me some sleep. If Dad or Pepper don't interrupt me, I know I can easily sleep till around Noon or Noon-Thirty. And with that, I simply hang up because we've both accomplished what we want with this phone call, and we're both (assuming here) feeling good.
Okay so I made a little trip today to take care of some biz-nass that required my attention and when I get back Dad tells me the following: "They called you today. Your interview's been rescheduled for Monday at 9:30. It's still a phone interview". Well frig. Right now the big thing I'm wondering is what the hell happened to "NOT Monday or Friday"? Grr. Travis smash.
Dad and I had dinner tonight...At the Bowling Alley. I think I've already made my feelings about this place known quite well by now, but why Dad has such a hard-on for this place is beyond me other than the fact that it's the friggin' social hub of this rinky little town. But anyway, I digress. On the way back out here Dad looks over to me and says "How would you feel about going to church on Easter?" at our old church. I believe this is one time that I was someone stunned here. Dad hasn't mentioned the phrase 'go to church' in about...Twenty years or so? But then he makes the next comment that "This is something we should do more often". huh. Not quite sure what's tickled my Dad's religion bone, but hey. We'll see what goes on here.
Oh hey before I leave? This goes out for Don, the leaver of 18 messages on my last post. Where did you find the 'make your own south park' character site? Cuz I'd be interested in playing around with that sometime.
All right, well tomorrow's a day of doing a whole lot of nothin' so take it easy.
