Last night was Cotillion (aka our winter formal) and it was a lot of fun. I have a few pictures, but not many so i'll wait to post pictures when i have my dad's and sister's pictures. Anyway, we met at Kelly Coady's house at 5:30 for pictures. After pictures we took our hummer limo (which was frickin sweet) and went to Bravo for dinner. I had never been there before so it was cool to go, and really yummy. It was also funny because Eleanor had forgotten her ID, so her mom had to come and give it to her and Mike had forgotten his ticket, so his mom had to come and give that to him. And then Mike's parents didn't leave, they sat at the bar trying to hide from us- but we saw them. The table next to us was also full of Watterson people and the tables next to them were full of Watterson people. Apparently it is a popular place. After dinner we climbed back into the limo and went to the Valley Dale Ballroom, which looks like crap on the outside, but very nice on the inside. It reminded me of the movie Footloose, at the very end when they have their dance. If you haven't seen the movie, then you have no idea what i'm talking about. ANYWAY, we checked our coats and did pictures and all that jazz. I danced a lot more than i thought i was going to, but i was part of the minority that did not grind. I just don't like it, i think it's trashy. Luckily enough they played a lot of slower songs so hurrah for that. By the end of the night there were flower petals everywhere from corsages and the b flower thing i can't spell. We were all pretty tired from the night, so we went back into the limo and i was kinda tired. The limo took us back to Kelly's and then from Kelly's i went to Sammi's after party. Again, everyone was tired so it was kinda dead, but it was nice to sit and talk and be quiet. We had the bobby pin contest between Danielle, Janice, Beth, Sarah, and me. I definitely lost with 52. I think Danielle had the most with 8-something. At 2:00 i left Sammi's and that was the end of my night. I had a lot of fun, but i need time to recover before prom.
Until next time...
have a great day!
