KGB Agents do not sit in a corner of the bar and stare into their vodka. Or, well, perhaps they do, but they definitely aren't thinking about strange girls who speak Chinese who make them feel terrified. That sort of thing is just not done.

Really.

The fact that there is a KGB Agent doing just that only serves to prove that these are difficult

No one understands the times better than Walter de Courcey.

Molokov's expression doesn't escape him, and as he slides into a seat beside the KGB agent, a glass of Scotch appearing in his hand as he does, he asks, "Something wrong, comrade?"

That may or may not be actual concern in his voice. But then, CIA agents aren't allowed to care all that much, are they?

"Nothing at all, partner." He sips at his vodka. He'd be touched that Walter came over to talk to him, if he allowed himself feelings.

After a moment he adds, "It has been difficult getting used to this place."

Walter smirks a bit at the word partner. It isn't like they're still working together, or they're all that likely to work together in the future, but he appreciates the acknowledgement of past comradeship, so to speak.

"I can't argue with that. It's certainly... unusual." But it seems like there's something specific getting to Molokov. Walter can tell, because general unease doesn't get the Soviet staring into his vodka like something's deeply disturbed him.

Molokov didn't discount the possibility of future collaborations. There was the rematch, assuming, of course, they could get back. There very well could be other... opportunities.

"I heard someone say there are people from other worlds here." If by hear you mean eavesdropping.
