Juliet is lying out on the cool grass and looking up at the starry sky with both wonder and jealousy. She is thinking about many things tonight, not just Romeo for a change, but she is a bit lonely so company is always welcome

Harry nods, thankful for the distraction, for the minutes he can spend talking to Sirius to stall this departure as much as he can.
"I'll miss you all too. This has been... fantastic, really. I wish I didn't have to leave." He walks over to his god-father, er, of the past. "But I do. There are things I need to do."
"Yeah, understood. Well, give 'em Hell from us, eh?" Sirius reaches out for a one-armed hug, ruffling Harry's hair as he does. "Especially old Snivellus."
"I don't recommend calling him that," says Lily mildly, joining them. "If he's your teacher, it's likely to do you more harm than good."
"Will do. I'll give Hell to anyone who can give me some bloody answers." Harry smiles, hugging Sirius back with one arm and blinking rapidly as his hair is ruffled.
Not many people bother ruffling that mess.
Harry nods at his mother. "I'll be doing my best to try and just stay out of his way, actually. No callin him Snivellus or anything else."
"You're far smarter than your godfather, but then you'd have to be."
"Oi!"
Lily handily ignores Sirius. "If you can come back here, we'll be very pleased to see you," she says to Harry quietly. "If...if it turns out that you can't...well...just know that we love you, very much. And we're proud of you."
Harry hugs her tightly, even though he doesn't want to think about not being able to come back here again ever. He's trying not to get emotional really, because that's going to be too embarrassing, but it's... it's he never hears that from anyone.
Ever.
So he swallows past his the tightness in his throat and nods against his mother's neck
"Thanks. I love you both too. I'd damn, well, better be able to come back, but I wouldn't be surprised if I wasn't." It's just how his life tends to work.
Harry takes an incredible amount of comfort and strength from the hugpile, more than he could put into words at any rate. He feels ready for anything.
"And I want to meet him, more than anything else now." He's already met his mother, after all. "Thanks so much for all you've done for me, you two. Means a lot."
Harry grins. "I've got enough treats to feed the entire Gryffindor house."
He laughs at Sirius' suggestion.
"I'll have to try that. After you two... 'spoke' with them, I'm not sure that she'd be able to do anything to me anyway. Might as well have a little fun, right?" His god father and mother might have managed to become something of a 'bad' influence on him.
Lily kisses his cheek, trying to smooth down his hair at the same time.
Yes, she knows it's a losing battle.
"Take care of yourself, dear."
"And write to the Remus in your world, would you?" Sirius looks vaguely concerned. "It sounds like he's alone a lot, he'd probably enjoy hearing from you."
Sirius is perched on the back of a nearby booth, his feet dangling off the edge.
"We'll miss you.'

And there are Mum-hugs. Isn't that nice?

"So do I." Lily grins at him. "Did you remember to pack your trunk full of sweets?"
"Ooh." Sirius smirks. "Leave a chocolate frog in Petunia;'s underwear drawer. I remember she likes that trick."
"Sirius, behave."
"Yeah, that seems likely."

"That's my boy. Well. Ish."
Lily sighs. "Just as long as you have the sense to do it as you're leaving."

"Of course, Mum. Don't worry. I can handle it."

He nods to his godfather. "I will. I'll write him every week."
"Well, I'd... I'd better go before I change my mind. Bye!" Harry waves, turns, and with a deep breath, heads out the door and back into his life.
