Sirius Black enters the Inn, none too gracefully, in a roll, having been knocked off his feet by a hex.
On the other side of the door are Lily Evans, on the ground unconscious, and a tall figure in a black cloak with a white mask covering his face. He's advancing on Lily with his wand drawn, his intentions obviously not good.
Sirius' wand rolls across the floor to the other side of the Inn; he curses, getting back to his feet, and spares the Inn only a brief glance before running back to Lily's side, helping her in the only way he can.
Sirius leaps, and Padfoot hits the Death Eater in the chest, knocking him back off his feet. Padfoot tears into the man with massive, lethal jaws, locking his teeth in the jugular vein and tearing.
Padfoot tears the Death Eater's throat out, and when the thrashing and screams are over, Sirius Black stands slowly, wiping blood off his chin and cheeks, and tries not to look at what he just did as he lifts Lily in his arms and carries her into the Inn.
