Mother and daughter are present this evening. Sara hasn't been intentionally avoiding the Inn, but neither has she sought it out. Sick friends and growing children take up a lot of time, after all.

"No--ow!---no, sweetie, that's attached to my head---let go---that's it---"

Her hands might be full, but Sara won't turn away company.

"Hey." Grinning curly-haired uncle of said baby approaches, gently stroking the back of Laura's hand to counteract the grip reflex. "What are you doing to your poor mummy?"

He's not been intentionally avoiding it either, but there's so much to do sometimes. Particularly at the moment; the tiredness shows clearly.

Laura obligingly lets go and Sara gives a relieved sigh, rubbing her abused scalp. "Doing her best to render me bald. How've you been?"

Clearly, she hasn't actually turned to look at Guppy yet.

"Grip reflex can be released by stroking the back of her hand." Guppy sits down next to them. "I'm okay, bar's gone a bit heavy. How are you?"

"Fine--" She turns, takes in Guppy's appearance with an experienced look, "--and wondering what new madness has hit the bar to have you looking like that." Beat. "Unless it's outside issues."

With Guppy, it's a reasonable deduction.
