After all that, and making her apologies, Rose had fled the Inn for the safety of the TARDIS, and probably clung rather tightly to the Doctor for a while. Maybe he'd realized why, maybe not, but that's the way of things.
Time moved.
She comes in, this time looking a bit... well, her mascara's obviously streaked and been (mostly) wiped away, but you can tell that she was crying not too long ago. She looks utterly heartbroken, really, and like she doesn't really know what to do anymore.
Behind her, you can see through the door the interior of a rather still and quiet spaceship.
