Kitty's been up in her room lately for far, far too long. So when she descends the stairs and sees a familiar, friendly face? She actually breathes a sigh of relief.
Watch out, Harry. You have a bouncy mutant sneaking up behind you and covering up your eyes!
Kitty returns the smile, even though it isn't reflected into her eyes completely.
A meeting with the Master can do that to a person.
"I'm good. How about you, Harry?" She'll walk through him and the table so that she might take a seat across from him. She'll eye his tea for a moment before thinking up a cup of her own.
"You've noticed it, too?" Kitty mutters, looking up to Harry.
At least she wasn't the only one. "I understand," Kitty nods. "I should go back to my own reality sometime, soon, too. But I'm not sure when that is going to happen..."
Harry sighs. "Yeah. I thought... maybe it was just me." He stares into the lobby as if the something will reveal itself to him if he just stares long enough. "Hate to think of the Inn getting weird... especially like out there does."
"Yeah... I don't know if this place will let itself go to that point of weird, anyway." A nod, "It doesn't seem like anything bad is happening, but something is off."
She sighs lightly before shrugging, "Anyway, let's not worry about that, hm?" Looking up in thought, she tilts her head to one side, "Have you been outside yet? With the snow-- well, what's left of it -- and everything? It's gorgeous."
"Really? There's snow outside?" He smiles and looks back toward the other doors.
Obviously, he hasn't been out recently.
"Blimey." Harry stands, suddenly, excited at the prospect of a 'valid' excuse for not returning to his own world. "Can't leave before I've seen that, right?"
"There is! She'll stand up as well, grinning from ear to ear.
Kitty hops up and down a little before reaching out, taking his hand and giving him a tug towards the door. "Nope, I won't let you!" She laughs and continues for the door.
"See?" Kitty says and steps out into the snow, throwing her arms open and spinning a little for a moment. As Harry speaks, she looks up, grinning widely.
"I bet winter must be fantastic at your school. With magic and everything."
"Yeah," Harry laughs and nods throwing the snow into the air and watching it fall down back on to the ground. "It's like the school's another place entirely. Even more magical."
It'd be his favorite season if it didn't involve Christmas where nearly everyone left.
"Bet it's not half bad at your school either." He smiles at her, shyly, picking up another handful and throwing it at her.
It's powder so it doesn't stick and make good snowballs, but it's cute.

"Guess who?" A laugh and a grin.

"How are you?" The last time he'd seen her... it hurts to think of her in so much pain and fear.

"Not bad. While I'm here anyway." He smiles. "Kind of have a dictator ruling the school right now."
Harry rolls his eyes with a heavy sigh.

Then again, hers doesn't, either.
There's a small laugh given.

It was interesting enough. Learning of another school in another world for people who were... well, different was putting it lightly.

Stretching her arms over her head, she'll look around the room. "How long are you staying in the Inn?"

He shakes his head. "I've been here for a while already. Sort of don't want to go back, but things are getting weird here and I know I've got to."

Everything's so much lighter in the Inn. He lets out a cold breath when his feet hit the snow.
"You weren't kidding." He says, smiling at her and picking up a handful of snow. "It's fall where I'm from. Another couple months at least till snow!"
