Here Inn, have three different, very much infected, people.
Romana has taken up the violin, her eyes closed as she produces a soft, sad song that would sound completely unfamiliar to those from Earth but might ring a bell to a few of the Time Lords out there.
A Gallifreyian song of mourning.
Lucy is positioned in front of a piano, something she hasn’t

Walking into the Lobby (looking much better than he had before), he spots Lucy at the piano and is more than a little surprised.
"You play?" Then again, he had been captured by his own music, picking up his violin earlier and playing as many ballads that would find his fingertips.
So yeah, he might just be infected.

Eyes clock away from the piano for a few moments so as to get a quick look at him, but they are soon back to studying the keys once more.
“You seem a bit better.”

But really, he knows it's undoubtedly the music's doing. What with his violin playing and all.
His eyes drop to examine the keys himself. "I'm sure you're just as talented."
And yes, he's compelled to actually think up his violin. "I can play with you, if you'd like."

Oh but she finds that even though it may be wrong, it’s also far too alluring for her to try and resist for long.
“Well, I suppose if it means I would get to hear you play…”
She takes a breath and turns back to the piano, fingers burning with their desire to grace the keys. The music starts off slow and sweet, more of a warm up than anything else, but it will soon turn a bit more lively, once she finds that it’s as if she’s never been away from a piano at all.

However, when she starts to play the piano, he closes his eyes and lifts his bow. Once he finds the right key, he starts playing in time with her, following her chords and key changes as well as he could.

The music will slow and eventually stop but she won’t remove her hands. “That was lovely,” she near-whispers. “You’re quite the talent.”

He smiles, "I'd say you are, too." A nod, "You play beautifully."

She knows this isn't right, knows that these feelings might not be as genuine as she hopes but a part of her can't resist. The music inside and out makes her feel more than she has in what seems like ages.
"Shall we do another?" Her voice is hopeful and a even a little bit desperate.

"I'd love to. Perhaps we can try a piano duet then, sometime after? I'm not too terrible on the piano." Oh, the music is addictive.

Really, as long as it's playing music, she doesn't care. Her fingers are already twitching against the keys once more, and it's as if they're calling out to her, begging to be touched, to be played.

Taking a seat on the bench beside her, he brushes fingertips over the ivory keys.
He decides to start the song off this time, playing something almost melancholy, drifting. He'll sweep hands along, allowing the upper portion to fade for that of Lucy's but only hop back in to add intensity.
He forgot how lovely it was to play piano.

If it turns out they're playing something she knows, it doesn't register. The only thing that matters is that they're making music, making something wonderful and magical and living.
Somewhere int he back of her mind, she knows that this needs to stop, that something is so glaringly wrong here and if she just paused for a moment, she could see, but she didn't want

When it does draw to a close, he sits perfectly still for a long moment, still hearing the movement in the back of his mind.

She looks at Chase a moment before getting to her feet. "Play something else," she commands.
And even if he doesn't, there's still music in her head, music that she can dance to.

The commanding tone is a little surprising, but he doesn't deny it. The music is too strong in his mind and he can't go against the pull it has on him.
He scoots over on the bench and looks at the keys, considering songs, but just lets his hands move, fingers coaxing an upbeat, powerful song out of the instrument.

It let her free and even if the music was a bad thing, she will never be able to truly hate it just for that.
She will dance for as long as he plays and even afterwards, because the music is deep inside her now, and she loves every minute of it.
