Angel's on his way downstairs from the rooms. Only he stops about halfway, tilting his head to one side. Something... sounds off, odd as it may be to say that. There's also something about that girl with the guitar...
It doesn't actually hit him until he's nearly to the couches.
you realized it all along, something in our story wrong...Oh, no.

"Is it me or is there somethin'...weird....going on?" Collins looks suitably confused, but not afflicted.

There's a certain amount of unspoken-but-quite-obvious relief at that fact that Collins isn't having any musical issues.
"There's something weird going on. I think it's the goddamn sentient music again."

[mitanarchist]

".........great. Baby, if I start actin' anything like the ones afflicted, hit me with something." Beat. Softer, "And get away so I don't give it to you."

When in doubt, contingency plans?

"I don't think it can really get a hold on me, since it didn't manage to grab me back in Milliways." And he's holding on to that thought, in light of the way the inn works.
"But trying to knock some sense into you I can do."

"How did it get resolved when it hit Milliways?"

[the_antiangst]

"By pointing out it was at the end of the universe. It didn't like the idea."
Angel sighs. "Somehow, I don't think that's gonna work so well here."

"Of course not. It'd be too simple." It hasn't gotten him at this point, and so Collins also firmly holds onto the thought that it won't.

He looks terrible doing diva impressions, after all.

"Too simple, and an entirely different place."

[mitanarchist]

"Do you think we should warn Mark, considering what it did to him last time?"

[the_antiangst]

"Yeah, if it's not too late. If it is..." Angel holds up the video camera. "I'm prepared to fill in, sort of."

"I love the way your mind works, baby."

[the_antiangst]

"I do try."
Anyway, if they end of in the same mess with Mark as last time...
