She's actually just come from the event herself, having meant to go into the oncall room, but found herself here of all places.
Seeing her friend (and sucking up her own sorrow because she knows April is hurting more) she moves to stand beside the chair and place a hand against her blanketed shoulder.
"Hey, chica..." A small, sad smile is given and there will be hugging, if at all possible.

"How's Dr. Cox? How's Jordan, does Jordan know?"

"Dr. Cox... he's..." He's reacted just as he should, if not worse. And Jordan, goodness, she doesn't even know. Even her whole mind is a blur. "He's taking it pretty hard..."
She won't lie, even if it's what her friend needs to hear.
She pets her friend's hair comfortingly.

Even though she's hurting a lot. Probably close to as much as they are. Not exactly as much, of course, but... she attaches to certain people quickly. And deeply. She tends to give her whole heart to people she really cares about. And so it hurts when she loses them.

"But lets work on you, all right, sweetie?" Carla is hurting, too, and maybe, somehow, they could help eachother?
"Do I need to pull out a movie and a few cartons of icecream? " She teases lightly, if only to coax a smile from the girl.
