Martha Jones walks into the Inn with the Doctor (tenth regeneration to be exact) right beside her. Her shoulder bumps against him as she walks inside and well, stops as soon as she gets through the doorway

There is a blonde who the Doctor might be interested in seeing, wandering around and poking her head in corners.
She's looking for Jack, if anyone's wondering. Because... well, she doesn't know him too well, but she was comfortable with him, and it was nice. Anyway, she wants to ask his opinion on what she should do when she goes out the door.
The Doctor freezes at he sound of her voice, he'd almost forgotten that he met her here once before. Almost.
"Rose?" He turns around, spotting the girl not too far away. "Rose Tyler! Well who would've thought! ...Well, except I should have but that's besides the point."
Martha freezes at the name and the girl. Internally, she's reeling and rolling her eyes.
Of course, she's blond.
Somehow it all makes sense now, except not at all.
She steels herself and stands at a distance. She will likely get much more information from this interaction than she could ever get out of the Doctor herself, unless she pulled the New New York thing on him again. And she'd rather not do that.
"Still don't know me, eh? Oh well, it'll happen eventually." He pulls out the sonic screwdriver and gives it a whirl. "Look familiar?"
He turns to Martha, far too pleased by this whole thing (he's almost sure that this won't last for too much longer but hey he'll enjoy it while he can). "Martha Jones, I present to you Rose Tyler."
He leans in to whisper in Martha's ear. "Doesn't know this regeneration yet, Back when we first met, I was all moody and running about in leather. Was fun really."
Martha raises her eyebrow at the Doctor's words though.
"Regeneration?" Martha mutters it and bites her lip, working it against her teeth, thoughtfully. She doesn't expect him to answer now, just another question to ask later.
She'll add it to the list.
She forces a smile that looks remarkably real and sincere. It's not that she doesn't like Rose, she just doesn't like being in her shadow.
"Hi."
That, however, is all she can manage... word-wise, at the moment.
"That's a..." she frowns a little, then groans and facepalms. "A sonic screwdriver? How many of you are there? Am I going to meet you all over the course of a week? And what were you bloody thinking, taking me to the end of the world? What kind of a first trip is that? I almost burnt to a crisp before the door opened!"
Yes. She is lecturing the Doctor. And scowling a bit.
It's quite cute.
She glances at Martha and smiles a bit though. "Hi."
He sighs, hands stuffed in his pockets. "Right right, I'll make a note of it and never do it again, although I've gotta say, it was kind of nice...In the wya that things like that can be nice..."
"Yeah, he has a tendency of throwing you in during the middle of an adventure that usually turns out to be life threatening." Martha says with a mixtures of exasperation and... love.
She tilts her head to the left.
It's only Rose's first trip.
So maybe she won't learn much of anything from watching them interact. The Doctor is quite good at hiding his feelings, hiding the whole truth when he'd like to. Rather frustrating.
Rose tilts her head, looking him over. "Well, your ears are smaller, anyway. Don't know if I like the hair. How long's it been, anyway? Did you get me killed by not telling me things or something?"
"Hey! I only do it on occasion, thank you very much...Okay, well no I don't but it's not intentional!"
He pouts a little at Rose's crtitisism. "I've grown to like the hair actually. Yeah, a bit disappointed at first but really, I think it rather suits me."
She grins a little, though. "It's good to see you, though. I mean... sort of you. Jack said I didn't get burned up, so I'm looking forward to you getting me out."
