I love only life. But life can only continue in the face of death.

Todd finally seems settled, finally seems like he's ready to face whatever weight has been holding him down. And yet, the door to the Inn still looks a little intimidating, but he has determination. He doesn't know what he might be marching off to face, but he's willing to face it.

...Once he opens the door and steps out.

Sleep is an evasive little fiend, Chase decides. He's taken up one of the couches in the Inn and has no problem laying stretched upon it. He's exhausted but his mind keeps spinning. His crossword is set aside and he's resting his eyes currently. But he wouldn't be hard to scare, so please, feel free to bother him!

Kitty is stretched out on the floor in front of the fire, focused intently upon a novel that is set in front of her. She has a blanket wrapped about her and she has a case of the sniffles (from playing in the snow far too much lately), but she seems relatively content. Then again, warmth and a good book were always a nice combination. Now all she needed was hot cocoa.
