Iroh retains his customary garb for only a moment after passing through the door to the Inn before transforming from a short, kindly-looking old man into a tall, spectral, rather imposing being with several sharp angles and a particularly ferocious-looking oni mask. The whole effect looks like this.
The rigid features of the oni mask shift like human features as Iroh looks in bewilderment at the the pool of ominous shadows around his feet. The somewhat-but-not-entirely recognizeable features of the people in the Inn get a confused look, too.
"I've missed something," he says. His voice sounds pretty much the same, only raspier.
