Chase, who has been awake far longer than necessary (he can't get this weird feeling out of his head. He dreamt last of bloody carpet, gunshots...) catches glimpse of Ben settled at one of the tables.
He figures he could say hello, anyway, seeing as he's naturally drawn to do so. That and keeping his mind off of everything would be nice. Sleep deprivation was a game he could play. It's when he reaches the table that he peeks over the photographer's shoulder and grins, "I didn't realize you took so many photographs."
The photos were amazing.
Really, the narration thinks that Ben's narration, well, she should've expected this to come about at some point or another.

Ben turns with a quirky grin at the easily recognizable, Australian voice.
"Hey, you." He smirks, the playful tone easy to hear. "Well, there's not a whole lot else to do here." Cept kiss pretty foreign boys and punch a best friend or two.
He slides the chair next to him out. "Take a seat. Help me organize!"

"True enough," Chase smirks, "I've done more medical crosswords than is probably healthy for me."
Settling himself in the chair Ben had slid out, he looks over the pictures, some of the people he recognized while others he did not. "How d'you want them organized?"
He picks up a few of the photographs, merely looking at them. How Ben managed to capture such life, such realism in people... it was fascinating.

"These are all my 'people' photographs." There are finger quotation marks in the air where appropriate and that quirky grin slides sideways across his lips. "I'm organizing by who they are. But some of them I don't know so... they get to be in random stranger I don't know... pile."
Ben smirks placing a picture of The Doctor in said pile.
"So, how's Chase doing this evening?" Ah, third person talk is fun.

Well, it would be fun to guess which people Ben knew and those of which he didn't, anyway. Chase looked through and placed an older photograph of JD into a pile.
"Well, I'd like to think he's doing quite all right." If one didn't bother to notice he drank a little too much coffee, of course, "I don't think he knows how Ben is doing, though."
Smirking and rifling through the pictures, he looks up at the darker haired one briefly, studying his face, before his eyes shift and he observes a picture of Doctor Cox (that was his name, right?) and started a pile for him.

"All things are settled in the land of Ben-dom tonight." Ben smirks, shuffling a stack of pictures between his fingers and setting the completed pile in a box on the edge of the table.
He has many, many boxes filled with photos.
"I talked to JD. Well, sort of." Ben runs his fingers through his strands of hair. "Things are cool between us again."

"The Land of Ben-dom?" Chase smirks and shakes his head lightly, "I s'pose that's a good thing."
He stumbles across the picture of himself that Ben managed to snap upon his entrance at the Inn, "Y'still have this ruddy thing?" He flips the picture so that Ben can see the one he's talking of before setting it down again.
At mention of JD, he looks up. "That's good. I was hoping that whole thing would end soon. Seems you both were torn up over it." Chase mused, finding he was moreso observing the pictures than completely sorting them. He'd put them into a pile eventually, sure!

"It's a fantastic place. You should go there sometime." Ben says and pokes Chase's arm across the table.
He smiles at the picture that Chase shows him. "Of course. I keep all of the pictures I take. 'Cept the really crappy, blurred, out of focus ones. But I'm so good, that that's a rarity."
Ben smirks, laughing at himself and sets another stack into the box.
"Yeah, we were. And the poor kid managed to fracture his hand too... or he thinks it's fractured anyway."

"Who knows, I'll look into it for vacation." Chase gave Ben's arm a light poke as well before going back to organizing some pictures.
"And I'm under the impression you take a lot of pictures, so I don't know how you do it." He sets a stack of the photographs into the box as well. It's odd to him how he doesn't mind spending such simplistic time with Ben.
"Seriously?" Chase blinks with disbelief before running a hand back through his hair, "That kid just doesn't get a break, does he?" There's a sad smile on his face. "Maybe I'll stop by and take a look at his hand. Though, since he's a doctor as well, I'd like to say he's probably right."

"Lots and lots of boxes." Ben explains, with that playful smirk that doesn't seem capable of leaving his lips when he's with Chase.
He nods at Case blinking in disbelief. A sad, almost guilty smile of his own plays across his lips.
"Yeah, it's like some greater power than all of us is out to get him." Setting the next stack into the box, he looks up at Chase's offer with a bright smile. "Really? You'd do that? I mean, the kid's a good doctor, sure, but he sucks at taking care of himself. And I'm the one who put the bandage on. Surprised it wasn't an even bigger mess."

"Seems like it," Chase muses quietly and places a few more photos amongst the stacks on the table. However, lifting his eyes to Ben, he returns the smile.
"I'm sure your bandage is just fine, Ben." He grins, reaching out a hand to brush against the other's briefly, "But I will check on him just in case, 'n' really, I think everyone has trouble taking care of themselves sometimes."

"Thanks. I'm accident prone so I've seen bandages done often enough. Wasn't too hard to learn to put it on someone else for a change." He smirks and nods appreciatively at Chase. "Yeah, I think you're right about that."

The narration would like to point out that yes, Chase is still his slightly canon-ish arrogant bastard he's meant to be somewhere. Really. He's just... having a good day?
