It's been a while since Angua's been in the Inn, and the last time she came in, she was dead. She got better, but her friends in the Inn certainly don't know that

"Angua?" Xander is happily enjoying pizza and being glad that this whole nightmares coming real thing is finally over with so he doesn't have to try to hide from knife wielding clowns anymore.
When the door opens, he can't help, but grin. He never thought that he would see her again. "Hey, it's really you!"
She gives him a rather toothy grin, taking off her helmet and shaking out her hair - she just came off patrol, and is consequently still in uniform, with helmet, shiny breastplate and all.
"I can't help it! I'm surrounded by pessimists th- there's nothing I can do." Xander says with a wave of his hands as he smiles, abandons his pizza, and walks over to her.
"Woah, what's with the spiffy helmet and stuff? Where exactly did you go when you left?"
"Home. Ankh-Morpork." She gestures to the breastplate - which has been obviously modified from the breastplates everyone else in the Watch wears to accommodate her... well, breasts - and tucks her helmet under her arm. "I'm in the Night Watch. This is the uniform."
Angua smiles - she can't help it. Even if she gets comments like that all the time, it's still cute when someone makes them and blushes. And it's nice getting compliments from someone, since Carrot gives a compliment once and expects that it never needs to be said again.
"Yes, I'm very much alive. One of the good things about being a werewolf - I only get killed by silver." Pause. "I'd appreciate it if you didn't spread that around, though."
"Oh. So that's actually true? I've watched enough classic werewolf movies to know about it, but you're so different from those! I totally didn't think the silver thing was true for you, but I'm really happy that it is."
Xander smiles and nods solemnly. "Don't worry. I won't tell."
"Well, it's that or fire. Otherwise, we heal remarkably fast." She just hadn't been sure, when it happened, if whoever had the gonne had caught onto the fact that there's now a werewolf in the Watch. Apparently not. She tilts her head to one side consideringly. "Should I ask what you'd heard about werewolves before you met me?"
Xander smiles and shakes his head at her, running his fingers through his hair.
"Nah, you probably don't want to hear it. You're nothin like the ones in the movies and you should be very happy about that. I know I am."
He smirks, almost devilishly, as an idea occurs to him. "Y'know if you want I could probably show you one of the movies sometime, but it'll probably weird you out."
She shrugs, shoulders moving in a fluid fashion that makes her chest move interestingly. "I'm from Uberwald. They have a lot of stories about us there - these... movies can't be any worse."
And a few people in the Watch are starting to carry around bits of silver. She's used to people holding werewolves suspect, and as long as Xander doesn't, she's okay with that.
Not that Xander's watching her chest or notices... anything to do with her... yeah, at all. Nope.
He forces his eyes away from her again. "Well, for one, werewolves in the movies are... monsters. No control. Reek destruction and all that. None of them are as attrac- they look like half man, half furry, teethy, slobbery beast when the full moon is out."
"Mmm. The first part sounds like some werewolves." Some of them members of her family. "The more you stay a wolf, the more... animal you get. Stupid, basically. We only look halfway between when we're actually Changing."
She grins. "I'd advise you try not to see a werewolf Changing unless you want to lose your lunch."
Xander smirks in response. "I'll try to remember that. Sadly, I don't know too many werewolves so I might not ever run into that situation, but... I will keep that in mind in case I do. Angua says to look away."
"Good boy," she says, grinning again in that way that flashes her teeth uncannily. "You'll thank me for it, if it ever comes up."
Even if he doesn't know any other werewolves, there's a chance he might see her Change some time. That would be just as bad. People who see her shifting from one form to another tend to not want to see her again.
"I'm sure I will, but I'm kinda hoping it doesn't." At one time, it may have been something he'd get all excited and geeky about, but now he thinks werewolves in actual wolf form will remind him too much of what it was like to be possessed.
Obviously, he had no fur and no real transformation, but the merge of human and canine... is enough to bring back memories that he'd rather not think on.
When the door opens, he can't help, but grin. He never thought that he would see her again. "Hey, it's really you!"

He runs his fingers through his hair and looks away. "So you... you went home? Does that mean that you're still... alive?"
