Year in and year out the fireworks display I get to watch outside my uncle's home on top of a high hill never ceases to leave me feeling in awe. And then I get hit by a wave of hope that things are going to be different this time around. I like hanging on to that hope-now more than ever actually-and carry on with my life believing I will move forward.
We all want a clean slate. The new year is the perfect (somewhat) physical manifestation of that. So I hope you make use of this clean slate. It's okay to draw outside of the lines. Maybe you think the wall's a better canvas. You can write on it, too.
Just make use of it. Move forward. Live.
