Zephyr had just flown out the window around noon and Vicky was finally ready to head out. She was looking forward to spending the day with Padma. Since the party, they hadn't had much time to really spend time together, just brief conversations and the stray owl or message slipped under the door.
Today, however, work wasn't holding Vicky up at all, and she could spend the entire day with Padma, should they feel like it. Humming to herself, Vicky changed into one of her favourite green tops and a pair of dark jeans. She grabbed her bag and her grey coat on the way out of the flat and skipped down the stairs to Padma's floor.
'Padma, time to head out,' she called as she knocked on the door.
