Colin tried not to grin too widely at Cormac's comment. It was nice to be wanted around; so much of the time, Colin felt more like a hassle than anything else. Perhaps it was the fact that he got so wrapped up in what he was doing, usually because it involved photography, that he had no idea which lines he'd crossed and why others were left feeling unimpressed with his actions.
Cormac didn't present that problem at all. The more time they spent together, the more comfortable things got. Colin didn't always know what to say, but Cormac seemed to understand more of what he meant. And that was something Colin had had trouble finding in another person.
He enjoyed the warmth generated from Cormac sitting so close by. He focused on the other man's body, let a small thrill pass through him at Cormac's kiss. He rested himself against Cormac, laying his head on his shoulder. "You're right," he said. "Anticipation has its uses." He snuggled closer. "Like making some moments feel completely worth it." Trying not to wince at the way his mind seemed to be turning to mush, he bent his head lower, hoping to avoid any possible eye-roll from Cormac for his soft-hearted comment.
Cormac smiled at Colin's statement and kissed the top of his head again. He let time drift for a while, enjoying their closeness. Colin was still slightly cold though, so Cormac moved back a little. "Would you like some tea?"
"Tea would be nice, yes," said Colin, hoping he wasn't intruding on the other man's hospitality. He curled up close the fire, wanting to drown it of warmth. His bones felt chilled, as if he would never warm up again; he hadn't really noticed it at all as he'd been walking, but now, as he settled down a little, he realised he was rather cold. And very tired.
He let his head rest against the edge of the seat, watching the flames, eyes heavy.
As Colin got warmer, it seemed to him that he sunk in his chair rather nicely. It felt like one big blanket, wrapping around him. The lights in the fire flickered prettily and he watched them as they faded from orange and red, to blue, to black.
Sighing contentedly, Colin gave himself over to sleep, enjoying the knowledge that Cormac was nearby.
"Colin?" Cormac put the tea on the table. Colin seemed to be asleep. Oh. Well what did he do now?
Cormac drank Colin's tea slowly, trying to decide what to do. He couldn't just leave Colin here, it couldn't be very comfortable. Finally, he finished the tea and Colin was still asleep. Cormac grabbed his wand and levitated him into his bedroom. There, at least he'd be comfortable now.
Cormac, at a loss for what to do, stood in the doorway and watched for a while before deciding to go and busy himself elsewhere. If Colin was still asleep when he got tired, he could just join him, afterall.

He returned, tea in hand, a few moments later to see Colin still in the same position. He really did look adorable. "Colin? Tea's ready."
Cormac crossed the room and sat back next to Colin.
