The guide mentioned that there's caves up there. I guess there was some old Malnosso base, too.

Well, the base wasn't mentioned in the guide. But I guess it was something people saw when they really started exploring the mountains. I remember it being talked about over the journals. [But he's been in Luceti sporadically, so he couldn't say when for certain.]

I have no idea. It's at least a day's hike from the village, if it's high enough on the mountains that we can't see it. I'd want to see it if the weather wasn't so bad.

Uh... [He had the bizarre luck of showing up in Luceti when it was getting cold, so he had never seen summer in Luceti.] There wasn't any snow in May. January, February, March, April... I'd estimate the snow would be gone by March or late February.

And that's not even thinking about what you might bring back from exploring. [That's his hope of exploring the mountains, at least. If he got up to that base, he'd want to find some old technology.]
