...and so a weekend

I got a lot of homework done Friday night. I was rather pleased, Nate was out with friends, and I made a dent in my physics problems, studied pathogenic micro, and past out with my "Guide to the GRE".

Saturday I got up early and headed over to Shepherd's Arena for the Pre-Vet Dog Show. Surprisingly, I had a lot of fun. Being around so many animals was refreshing for me...it really made me realize how much time I havn't been spending around animals, and also how much a good black lab puppy could do for someone's day.

It was fun to watch. One woman had two standard Poodles, the big kind, which pretty much took the show. They were pretty awesome to watch...poodles are real jumpers. Then later on Nate finally got to see HOM Furnishings. I love that store. We spent a good chunk of time there, then to target to wonder where we ran into Mandy.

That night, Nate and I caught a movie...UltraViolet: The Blood Wars. I had no idea what was coming, and what I got was never expected. I actually really liked the plot and theme...but then again, I'm a microbiology student, this is my kind of stuff....***If you want to see the movie without the info....skip the rest of this paragraph***it was all about viruses, antigens, blood...and then they threw in a twist that I never expected and NEVER imagined I would see this topic from such a point of view....vampires.

Sunday was so relaxing, it didn't feel normal. After getting up, Nate and I went grocery shopping, then he made some awesome Chicken Tortilla Soup, and then it was basically studying until I worked at 5:30 p.m.
I had two tables total, served 5 people, but walked away pretty decently because both tables had the full spectrum of the dining experience, appetizer, drinks, entree...no one had room for dessert, but so it goes...two tables and a couple $100 in food sales is an okay sunday considering the amount of work that it took me.

Then more homework, and finally we have today.
