...and so I Yuki Wanna dance

Friday- The only notable thing I can think of is the fact that Linz and I spontaneously had sushi around 2:00 p.m. Actually, I didn't have Sushi-Sushi, it was shrimp hibachi, but I love the restaurant. We had fun. As soon as she walked in the doors the hostess laughed at her because this was her third visit there this week:) Afterwards, I got a call from work saying they were going to have me come in, even though we weren't aloud to go into our lab. Friday was super cold and the CNSE building was being goofy as far as a lot of the pressure tanks and ventilation so we couldn't use our fume hoods. The problem here, ahghem, lies in the fact that I would rather not inhale acid fumes from the acid bath that we have in our lab that is no longer contained in a fume hood.

But anyways....linz joined me! I have never had a visitor there before so it was fun to show her around a little bit (it was a pretty sucky tour, overall) but there wasn't much I could do at that time. She got to watch me check chemical levels on the aquariums, and then she got to watch me feed the fish and the barnacles. Nothing horribly exciting. But it was nice to have company.

Then afterwards (wow, I'm realizing we hung out for a significant amount of time :) she came back to my apartment, we shared some Sangria and she watched me take my online Comm 110 exam. Around 8:00 p.m. or so we parted ways and I don't think I got very far after that because at 7:00 a.m. I woke up on the couch in all of my clothes.

Saturday was dumb. All I did was clean, do homework, laundry (and watch TV and internet). I never even stepped foot outside of the apartment, but now that I think about it, I suppose I need some days like that in my life. I realize that I'm addicted to nearly killing myself through business, and how sometimes I can 8 things to do at once, and not want to do any of them, but I want them there, and I get to a lot of it. But I cleaned my room quite a deal, there was a big mess on the floor because my dresser was still int he closet but I got it all worked out. I was so excited about the clean room that I ended up sleeping in my old bed, which overall I can't believe how different it feels.

Then we have Sunday. I woke up extremely early for having went to sleep at 5:00 a.m. I had an online assignement, and then called Linz to go see NDSU's "A Chorus Line".

GOOD SHOW. I was happy to have went. Although at first I was upset with Craig...he walked right past me, smiled, and kept going...he didn't even say hi, or thank me for coming or anything!!! But I really did like the show...I laughed quite a bit, and it was at all the right parts:) The show also had emotional appeal, and overall, I know it's a classic and I think everyone did well with it. Afterwards, linz mentioned that her mom said she should be able to recognize a lot of the songs and then all we could think of was FAMILY GUY...they final song was the opening credits of family guy...kind of hilarious.

Then after the show I went straight to work and had a few big tables. I know it sounds ridiculous to only have 3 tables during a shift, but it's still quite a deal of work...the bar was closed so we could only serve wine and beer AND we had to do everything ourselves so I got to go back in the bar and pour all of my own wines, open some bottles, and get my own tap beer.

Then we drank. Berrett, Adam, Deehan, Adam's friend Sarah, Nate and I. It was an interesting group, but still fun. I passed out, big surprise...I always drink when I'm tired so apparently the inhibition that I have the most throughout the day is not going to sleep...so as soon as it's gone, so am I.

so there.
