Weetzie hadn't visited the pool in a really long time - actually not since that day she met Sawyer, which may have also been the last time she had said "lanky lizards!"
But she promised Spader that she would hang out there more often, and he was fun and she wanted to hang out with him some more, so one day Weetzie put on her fake-Pucci print bikini and cat's-eye sunglasses and took Slinkster Dog down to the pool. She didn't have the gold mules anymore, but she found a pair of flip-flops with super-cute bows on the toes so she wore those instead. (Weetzie noticed they were all about putting flowers and bows and things on flip flops over here. Maybe she could do that back home and start a new fashion trend!)
The pool was quiet and empty when Weetzie got there. As she followed Slink to an empty deck chair, she thought it was too bad not many people hung out at the pool. Like the rest of the hotel, it was a pretty nice place with plenty of room. Maybe someone could hold a party there sometime. She bet they could decorate the place real nice.
A robot came humming up to her the moment she sat down and Weetzie ordered a pina colada.
