It's not idle curiosity that brings Michael down to the lobby, and from there to the Portal Room. She doesn't have anything that could be classified as second sight, but there are certain messages she is more than capable of receiving, as it were.
And so it is that she greets the message NO DESTINATIONS AVAILABLE with a remarkable lack of surprise. Irritation, however, oh she's got that in spades.
When she makes her way back out into the lobby her scowl, the crossed arms, and the leashed energy in her too-skinny frame fairly scream as belonging to a girl with an attitude problem. At least she doesn't kick any chairs -- or indulge in smiting.
One or two lightbulbs, however, do give up the ghost with an audible pop. Self-control of a certain kind of power does have limits, especially to someone so well-equipped with a temper.
