After years of scrounging around around for unsecured neighborhood wifi opportunities, I just logged a laptop onto an in-house Secure wireless router to a high speed connection, With The Username And Password. I can sit in bed with A Laptop and Type On It while Looking At Stuff if I want.
I can't even really freakin handle this, I've got a desktop flatscreen with keyboard and mouse, a laptop, and a pocket PC with stylus and touchpad/slideout keypad controls, all in front of me, All Accessing The Internet, ALL AT ONCE, not to mention my pen and paper notebook. The things I could do from this position... It's beyond tabs and windows, actual multiple screens, by the mere shift of the eye a switching of screens. I don't know exactly why this experience is valuable to share with you, though. It's just so intense. None of this is actually mine, though, it's all just made available for my use, which is more than good enough when you consider that nothing you have or have had a relationship with is ever or ever was 'yours' in the sense of personal possession that is so popular to project on things, people, ideas, and all these days. It just doesn't stand up if you think and feel about it for very long. But that's not the point here. The point is the three screens. Though that would however be the more valuable thought.
