Torn By Tassimo
I will admit it - I am torn.
Part of me wants to get one of those individual serving coffee machines - Keriug or Tassimo (however they are spelled). See, I love coffee - I get a lot of it during the week at the office over at Church... but at home, not so much.
I have my grinders, my pot... but I just end up not drinking it all -- it seems wasteful. And four cup pots... well, they sort of offend my aesthetic sensibilities (my house is not a hotel, I do not need a hotel coffee pot).
So, do I get one of these spiffy little single serving machines. They aren't cheap, but they are tasty. But part of me recoils at 75 cents for a cup of coffee in my own house... I can make a whole pot for less than that! And then... will I use it. I know I won't every day... but will I make the 3 or 4 cups a week to where it makes some sense?
What I think this means in reality is that when my wife gets home from her trip to Norman, she will see a new coffee doo-hickey on the counter. I think this is prepurchase angst... oh well.
