But I can't help it.
I don't know, I've been trying to be optomistic about this whole election thing, but it's just so disheartening. I can't help feeling like it's a tremendous loss to a lot of groups of people I care about. What about the enormous QAF community who have been fighting so hard? What about all those MTV voting shows? Vote or Die? Choose or Lose? Even I have been rocking the whole "Change" thing to everyone I talk to. All these past weeks, all we've heard about on TV, magazines, EVERYYYYYWHERE is to vote. Now maybe I'm being presumptious when I think that the Vote or Die campaigns and such were Kerry-oriented, but I'm pretty sure they were. "Your vote can make a difference!" they said to us. Really? Is that so? Well, look at what has happened. I'm not even talking bitterness, now I'm just feeling and overwhelming sense of sadness. A tremendous loss indeed.
