i read an article in "real simple" magazine that talked about the ways people got a job they loved in the current economy. One woman created an ad on facebook to get the attention of people who worked at companies she also wanted to work at.
so, I just did the same thing.
*blink, blink*
there's something to be said for free time I suppose.
Of course, the part of me that hates attention and really hates situations that could result in me getting LOTS of attention is panicking. I'm also worried that my contact information will be all over the web and I'll get blasted with spam e-mails and random phone calls, etc, etc, etc...
still, I'm trying not to worry too much and I'm praying that the attention I do get will be positive and worthwhile for me :)
the add runs tomorrow through the end of the month and I said I'd pay up to $5 a day, which will amount to about $55 if I get all the clicks I'm capable of. Of course it's also only about 5 clicks a day, so I don't know if that's a good thing or not, but I don't quite have the budget for more than that.
have any of y'all ever had crazy ideas and then done them before you could talk yourself out of them?
