Aside from the glaring feminist/humanist/pro-sanity issues in every stanza, my main problem with it is that the author actually seems to believe that such a time EVER existed. I mean, sure, maybe it used to be the ideal, for some small narrow-minded segment of society, but it NEVER actually happened.
(I would also like to point out (and if I need to, I'll go find a source) that people have been complaining about how much ruder and more badly dressed their children are than they were for literally THOUSANDS OF YEARS. Shut up already, you twits.)
