Hi, it's great to meet someone who goes to the university as well. :] I work at the superstore at Grant & Kenaston though; I live in the river heights area. I'm still close to the fort garry a lot, obviously for the university, and I also go to Shapes on pembina.
I saw your post in the community & like other people said, you'll probably make friends easily since you're in engineering; you'll have similar people in most of your classes.
Me, I'm shy, and there were different people in all of my classes, so I found it hard to make new friends.
Anyway.. hopefully I'll see you around sometime! <3
