Before I say anything else, I must send the ever-lovely
starlight_28 darling a somewhat-belated
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KIM!!
Yay!! Glad your day was good, and here's hoping this year is the best yet... (*wondering if I should conspire with Adam, re: an unwrapped Antonio Sabato, Jr., on Kim's doorstep...*)
Mum and I are (obviously) back in the States now. The trip itself was lovely in every way, and (barring a screaming toddler on the return flight) even the flights were tolerable. Got to see lots of lovely and amazing things, and got to spend time with the darling Boys and Amee (who is, most certainly, NOT a Boy).
Home again. Staff development tomorrow, so one more day to get over jet-lag before I'm around Students. Half the day is a seminar on Intelligent Lighting. Lighting was the only "C" I ever made in college, so you can probably sense my sheer unbridled enthusiasm all the way from here.
It's nice to be back home. I missed my own bed (or rather, my own pillows), and I really missed my Minnie Kitty. I may be popping down to Nac briefly on Saturday to pick up some costumes from Missy C.
Oh, and Rick, if you read this: I'm a tentative "yes" for Ireland this summer. The "tentative"
just means that I need to know when all the money is due... Who can I talk to about that?
