So much to do, yet so much has already been done. Moved. Put in its place.
Last night, Shell-Belle and I put things where they should go. They all have a place. We just hadn't found the right designated area for them yet. I should give her credit mostly, because I just lingered, took out trash, and watched from a short distance.
Today, some friends stopped by on a "friend-play-break." There were a few things involved:
-Burnt onion rings
-Tea
-Hair dye
-Trash bags
-Boots for walking in [the rain]
-Excuses (valid ones)...
Today we are supposed to make a trek to Nashville to retrieve the rest of my materialistic possessions. Much of it will be thought about, trashed, or taken, but I'm not too sure I want to leave this place today. These places today.
I'm dumping my camera, rolling cigarettes, drinking a pot of coffee, revising/writing/adding to some things I've been working on...
There are many things that need to happen involving other people. These people and us, we need to come together with a concrete plan. Make something start. WE are ready, these collaborators are not. They came to us with plans as did we, but we're the ones that are actually involved.
If something doesn't happen soon, I'm making art, making people want to buy my art, and getting a plane ticket for my Love for September.
It was a dreary, rainy day to begin with, but now, I can see the sun shining through the open patio door. Today feels good.
