long time coming...
FRIDAY: i got my vertical labret pierced.
SATURDAY: went out for my friend kandi's birthday and got drunk for pretty much free. (red stripe guy came to the bar and gave us free red stripe, kandi bought a pitcher and eventually everyone's beers got mixed up so i drank whatever was in front of me and not warm), i went next door to corner bar and they were giving away free champagne.
SUNDAY: didn't work, depressed that i couldn't go to the bonnie raitt/keb'mo show and sure enough - my friend ernest hooks me up with a free ticket (and i got to sit next to beth neilson-chapman)!!!
MONDAY: went to the KT tunstall show for free thanks to sony rep. scott morgan. stood outside waiting to meet her and FUCKING BONNIE RAITT WALKS RIGHT PAST US!!!
i went into the bar she went in to and introduced myself to her, told her i've loved her since i was 4, saw her show last night and it was amazing. she shook my hand. i went outside and cried in the parking lot for a second.
my life is now complete. i've got to meet the only woman i've ever wanted to meet. the woman that is my shero. the woman that made me want to play music.
i can die a happy woman.
