i am so proud of you. I can not begin to explain all the ways i was awed by you tonite. I always knew you were incredible. But for the first time in our life together, I feel that you are beginning to know that too. "I hope you are seeing in you now the things I swore I saw myself" (Dashboard, sort of). We are too old to feel insecure. We have been through too much. Fought too much. Been too many places. Met too many people, and our many selves IN those people. We are too distrusting to believe what they say about us. We are just jaded enough to have rose colored glasses. And to know when to take them off. I am calling you out on your beauty.
