[Edward saw Bella leave the Community Building. He still feels like he doesn't deserve her and that his family can bring nothing but pain. But, he also knew that if anything happened to Bella it would be his fault. So after some debating he ends following her.]

Bella.

[She turns when she hears him, her eyes looking for the source that she knew the voice had come from. She relaxed when she spotted him.]

Edward.

Why are you outside so late? [WOOORRY.]

Because I'm not tired tonight. [Lies.]

[He eyes her. She is obviously tired - the bags under her eyes and the way she carries herself. A frown tugs at the corners of his mouth as he debates again on what to do. He reaches up and gently goes to turn her the way they came.]

You still need to rest.

[Oh no, you're not turning her back that easy, she's already trying to fight that by turning back in the direction she had been heading.]

I can always sleep later. It's not like there's a specific time I have to get up in the morning.

Sleeping isn't resting, Bella. [He gives her that look.]

[And she gives him that 'I'm not backing down' look.]

Fine, then I'll rest when I get to the town square. There are benches there.

[Edward makes a scowl. He reaches behind her and picks her up, carrying her in both his arms. He runs quickly to the town square then lets her down. With a look in his eyes saying 'well?']

Edward! [And now he's getting that stubborn 'I didn't need help' look from her.]

I was perfectly fine just walking.

You were. You also probably had no intentions of actually resting once you reached the square. [He gestures to the bench. This is his way of saying you're not getting out of it, sister.]

[Annoyed Bella is annoyed, but she plops on the bench in a huff, obviously still not happy that he carried her, but letting him win this round.]

You worry too much.

Maybe if you weren't so clumsy, I wouldn't have to worry.

Nothing's wrong. [Lying. But mostly because she's annoyed now. He's gonna have to make up for carrying her here if he wants answers.]
