Event: Game Beginning!
OKAY SO this explanation is super-late because apparently my strange mutant computer and/or internet-killing powers decided to kick up this week. I'm going to leave the game beginning post up on its own a little longer than planned if only because I want to be sure that everyone gets a chance to participate in this stage and understands what's up! (Thanks for asking questions, those of you who did - it let me know I needed to get this post up :D)
What's up is basically: even though the post describes events through the end of the third inning, comment threads of RP attached to the post don't take place at the end of that time - that is just to give y'all a framework to work in and to let you know how the game is progressing so characters can comment on it as they wish in threads!
So, feel free to interact in one another's comment threads, make a thread of your own for people to bother you in, and enjoy the time from getting off the bus through the end of the third inning in that post. I'll be making the other two posts primarily with inning highlights for the rest of the game, so that people can continue conversations, follow the game, etc.
Thanks for your patience with my getting things together and posted. I promise that future events will proceed a little more smoothly. Hopefully LJ won't randomly go down again, either, oh ho ho.
