Character: Sawako “Sadako” Kuronuma
Series: Kimi ni Todoke
Character Age: 16.
Canon: Kimi ni Todoke-as the title says, is a story about, well, reaching people. It revolves mostly around Sawako Kuronuma, the heroine of the story, and her struggle to make friendships with the rest of her classmates. Rumored to have supernatural powers or some relation to ghosts (hence her nickname, “Sadako”, the girl from The Ring series), Kuronuma begins by herself, and it isn’t until she meets Kazehaya, the popular boy of the school, that she begins to really reach out to others.
Sawako herself is a kind, but very shy girl, she tends to take things quite literally or overthink issues to the point of being completely offbase. She's really easily impressed, and thinks the best of everyone. In summary a naïve but good girl, she tries her best to be useful to the people around her and to always do the absolute best she can.

So... this is "Camp"... a kind of place I could only dream about before. These kinds of places are where people make memories, right? To be able to say "I did this during summer camp"... w-what a great experience. Maybe when I'm done, I'll be able to say that, as well. At the end... "A great experience!"
Though, it really is really different from what I first expected… From the pictures, I thought it would be more of a... um, r-regular setting? A "radioactive" lake, purple gorillas, those well-crafted zombies isn't normally in summer camp, is it? T-there's even a tentacle monster. The eerie mood, as if something unmentionable happened here. ...Maybe this is a "horror-themed" summer camp?!
Then... This place must be for really courageous people!
Wow, how amazing... I wonder what kind of people would come to a camp like this. Maybe this is a way to help people get over their fears… Or to relive the experience of being trapped in a horror story! I-I have to try my best to be scared! Everyone must be working very hard, and having to reattach limbs must get tiring all the time! I think seeing a scared face would make them very happy.
Though honestly, it's a little hard to... I'm really sorry, but everyone is- everyone is so friendly. When I first came, I was a little lost, but everyone… everyone crowded around me! T-they even complimented me, and even stayed so well in character! It was… to be told I have brains... I was a little nervous, but everyone was so open... I was really happy! If everyone is like this, maybe even I can reach out to a lot of people.
Right! I'll do my best...!
But, how will this go? I have to be casual. Maybe...
