Isshin is a shinigami who's recently come out of retirement but is still hiding his living deadness from his son and the other shinigami etc. from his world who don't already recognize him as anything but Ichigo's weird dad. I'm not planning on having more than a small group of people know about him for the time being, so if you could either not reveal it or give me a way to play it off, that'd be good.

Don't worry, it'll be easy for Madman not to reveal it. He's quite insane after all!

It's not like he's going to be commenting on everyone he meets, just that he will know and that means I should too. XD

Well, I'd be lying if I said there's not a big part of me that wants to get right to the attempted beatdown that's sure to come when Ichigo finds out his dad's been LYING BIG TIME, but it's just a little smaller than the part that wants to wait and hopefully spill the beans in person. |D

I know the feeling, definitely. I face a similar dilemma with the twins. Then I remember that they'd try to kill stuff if camp at large knew their secret. XD

Madman wouldn't be one for big announcements anyway. He probably won't even remember Isshin after their meeting. His memory is fucked up like that. XD Probably something to do with getting smashed with all of Reality all at once all those years ago.

Yeah, I hear that sort of Enlightenment can be especially bitchy if you're not careful, maybe next life he'll watch his step. ;)

He has to get around to actually letting Death find him first. Silly Madman, thinking all attacks and killing things are illusions.

Death seems pretty patient in camp, so maybe he'll luck out!

Definitely. He's from Nightside; Nightside natives tend to die often. Of course a lot of them come back but details.

Of course a lot of them come back but details.

So Nightside's a lot like Marvel and DC then? |Db

Well, I didn't necessarily say they come back alive. There's Dead Boy and Sinner and Larry Oblivion, (the dead detective) and scores of zombies and ghosts and others who just couldn't rest in piece.

And then the spoilery ones. XD And the Lamentation's flock of undead suicides. Very hard to stay dead in Nightside... which isn't necessarily a good thing.

Well, only slightly less similar then, there seems to be a good selection of characters who aren't properly dead but are also no longer alive.

...I'm sure it should be disconcerting that we've got so many fandoms floating around where death is less than permanent, but it's really not. :Db

Not really. Immperminant death is fun to play with. The should be dead but not ones have so many fun issues and quirks.

Pssst, app Dead Boy. He's camper age

Including but not limited to coming up with new and interesting ways to combat that dead body smell!

Ahahaha, I'm still getting used to just having one character in this place, I couldn't possibly take another yet.

There's something to be said for duct tape, superglue, a staple gun and builder's putty when dealing with a dead (and routinely shot/stabbed/torn apart) body. And looots of powerful drugs for that hard to get high.

It does take a while. it doesn't get easier when you have five either.

Duct tape is a handyman's best friend even after death, it would seem.

Yeah, I think anyone with that many characters is NUTS.

Dead Boy heartily agrees.

I have something in common with my character then. XDD
