No kidding. And still, as angry as everyone was at Bush for the power grabs he made, nobody seems to notice that Obama hasn't exactly been in any hurry to reverse any of it. The only person you have to fear more than one with little public support who instates such policies is the one with massive public support who KEEPS said policies, that comes after.
As sad as it is, there's a demotivator that sums this whole issue up better than anything else I've seen, as absurd as it is:
And it's true. Freedom won't die and Fascism won't take hold with a sudden charge for power, an outbreak of war. Freedom will die as politicians today and in the future continue to deliver cut after cut, slice after slice to our rights... until one day, you look up and realize they're all gone. But by then, it'd be far too late.
